Amid reports that actor Salman Khan is filing a defamation suit against comedian Kunar Kamra for abusing him during one of his stand-up shows, Kamra has declared that he would not apologise for his jokes. He also referred to the court case in which Khan was accused of poaching two black bucks in 1998 and the hit-and-run case of 2002 in which he was accused of ramming his car into a pavement in Bandra, killing one person and injuring four others.

"I am not a flying bird or a stationary footpath and I don’t apologies for jokes anymore…" the comedian wrote on X, responding to a tweet on the incident by actor KRK.

Salman Khan, however, has not reacted to the incident yet.

Blackbuck poaching case of 1998

It all started during the shooting of the 1998 film Hum Saath Saath Hain in Rajasthan.It is alleged that it was at this time that actors Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, and Neelam went on a shooting expedition in Salman Khan's Gypsy. He is believed to have killed two deer after he spotted a herd of them in Jodhpur's Kankani village.
