Railways runs special trains to Ajmer for Urs pilgrims

With a view to clear extra rush of passengers to Ajmer, the Railways has pressed more than dozen special trains from different places to Ajmer. The annual Urs of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at Ajmer is being held in May.

Special trains are being launched from many places including New Jalpaiguri, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Jhansi, Agra, Delhi, Bareilly, Mumbai, Chapra, Hatia and Jaipur.

The special trains for Ajmer are being run since May 16 and will continue upto June 1, said a senior Railway ministry official. Besides the introduction of four new trains, the running of five trains has been extended.
