Micromax ups its game; launches Canvas LapTab

After having forayed into smartphones, tabs and even television sets, Micromax today announced the launch of its new laptop-tablet hybrid called quite simply the Canvas LapTab.

Micromax unveiled another smart device but this time 2-in-1. The Canvas Laptab can be used as a PC or simply detach the screen from the keyboard dock to use it a tablet.

This is the company's first launch in the PC segment and they roped in Microsoft and Intel as their technology partners.

This device will hit the shelves on May 6 and would be listed exclusively on Amazon India for a price tag of Rs. 14,999.
