Mahindra launches India's first CRDe tractor Arjun 605 MAT

The Farm Equipment Sector of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd has launched its first tractor based on the CRDe technology.

The new tractor named Arjun 605 MAT is a multi application tractor which, the manufacturer says, offers better fuel efficiency and enhanced performance.The CRDe technology is a modular, electronically controlled diesel fuel injection system which offers superior performance over varying load ranges and provides a better driving experience due to lower engine noise.This technology is more eco-friendly because of lower emission ratings and an on-board diagnostic system has the capability of finding faults, thus providing a reliable platform to work with.At the launch, Rajesh Jejurikar, chief executive, Tractor & Farm Mechanization Business, M&M Ltd said, At Mahindra, we have always pioneered products which increase farm productivity and enhance rural prosperity. We have been the first to introduce CRDe technology in tractors, which is usually present in an automobile.With the CRDe technology, the Arjun 605 MAT, which is Indias first multi application tractor, will deliver superior performance in high end applications for both agri and haulage use.
