Patents suggest 3D gesture support coming to future iPads

3D gestures using cameras might not be for the PlayStation Move and the Kinect. Patently Apple has a story, that states that a patent was posted by Apple on the 25th of October 2011, which suggests that 3D gestures in the form of a video editing toolbar might be coming to iPads sometime in the future - mostly likely in March 2012, when the iPad 3 is rumoured to launch. The toolbar would let users play around with videos by making gestures in front of the camera. One of the gestures suggests transferring video files from an iPhone to an iPad to edit. Some of the gestures include pointing at objects and some others to point to specific areas of an image along with aligning images.  Click here for full story
