Micromax Canvas HD now shipping for older orders, but no sign of new stock

If you were one of the many Micromax fans on the waitlist for the A116 Canvas HD, then here’s some good news to start the day. The company has now started shipping the handset to those who ordered it right after the first batch sold out. The shipping has been delayed so far due to a "procedural issue", according to the company. Snapdeal, which has exclusive rights to sell the phone, said it has received fresh stock of the device and users can expect to get it by the end of the month. However, people looking to book the Canvas HD will have to wait a tad longer to get their handsets as there is no indication when new stock will be made available to retailers.
