Google’s popular flagship tablet Nexus 7 was successfully overclocked to 1.6 GHz, according to a report by AndroidPit. When run through Quadrant’s benchmarking tool, the tablet gave a score of 7130. This is almost twice the score that an HTC One X gives when put through the same benchmarks.A developer who goes by the name of Morfic, and his friends, installed the Trinity kernel on the device before they could overclock the Nexus 7’s quad-core processor to 1.64 GHz.
