Indian rupee ended flat at 73.57 per dollar, amid volatile trade seen in the domestic equity market.
It opened flat at 73.58 per dollar against previous close of 73.58 and remained in the range of 73.49-73.63.
At 14:05 IST, the Sensex was down 392.20 points or 1.04% at 37341.88, and the Nifty was down 117.90 points or 1.06% at 11035.80.
