To commemorate India's 70th Independence Day, the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has issued notification for 2,345 job openings in various departments, the Indian Express reported.
The TSPSC has included health, medical and TSPSC forest notification 2017 in its list. However, the TSPSC website - tspsc.gov.in - is yet to put up any such notification.
In medical and health, nearly 331 vacancies are said to be filled, which includes 205 seats for civil assistant surgeons and 43 civil assistant surgeons in Insurance Medical Services.
In forest department, around 2014 vacancies are to be filled. This includes 1,857 posts for Forest Beat Officers, 67 posts for Forest Range Officers and 90 for Forest Section Officers.
The Indian Express report also said the Telangana Commission is expected to release notification for other recruitments including 2500 engineers, 15,000 residential school teachers post and 800 assistant engineers.
A total of 48,070 vacancies are yet to be filled in the state, the report said. TSPSC has recruited nearly 27,660 candidates so far.
