A Delhi court on Tuesday extended Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's judicial custody in the excise policy case till August 27, 2024.

Special judge Kaveri Baweja extended the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader's custody after he was produced before the court through video-conferencing.

Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case linked to the alleged excise policy scam on March 21 after the Delhi lieutenant governor ordered a CBI probe into alleged irregularities and corruption involving its formulation and execution.
