The North Block area houses several important government buildings and offices, including key ministries and administrative offices.
According to an official, the threat was communicated via email. The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) official mentioned that searches are underway, involving a dog squad, bomb disposal and detection teams, as well as personnel from the police and fire departments.
A police officer stated that the bomb threat email was received by an officer stationed at the North Block, prompting the call to the DFS.
