Panic spread across outer Delhi late Saturday night when authorities received a call about a bomb threat on a cluster bus at Nazafgarh More. The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) confirmed that the call came in at 11:55 PM, reporting a suspected bomb on route 961, which operates between Narela and Najafgarh.
In response to the threat, two fire tenders, local police, and bomb detection and disposal squads were immediately dispatched to the scene. The driver of the bus acted swiftly, parking the vehicle at the roadside and informing the local police of the situation.
Authorities conducted a thorough inspection of the bus. While no bomb was found, officials discovered material with wires wrapped around it, prompting further investigation to ensure the safety of passengers and the surrounding area.
"As of now, nothing suspicious has been found, but we are continuing our probe to ensure all safety measures are taken," a DFS official stated.
