State Street Global Advisors acquires 0.67% stake in Deepak Nitrite

Deepak Nitrite shares fell marginally in trade on July 29, but rallied 92 percent from its March 23 low

State Street Global Advisors Asia acquired 0.67 percent stake in Deepak Nitrite on July 29 via open market transactions.

The US-based asset management company acquired 9,25,451 shares through SSGA Funds Management in Deepak Nitrite (representing 0.67 percent of its total paid-up equity capital) at Rs 632.36 per share, bulk deals data available on the National Stocks Exchange (NSE) showed.

Deepak Nitrite shares fell marginally in trade on July 29, but rallied 92 percent from its March 23 low.

Mutual funds held 12.74 percent stake in the chemical manufacturing company. Nippon India Small Cap Fund and Franklin India Smaller Companies Fund held 5.08 percent and 3.92 percent as of June 30, respectively. Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) owned 11.48 percent stake in the company.

Among other deals, Peddiboyana Ramanaiah sold 4,84,784 shares in Kellton Tech Solutions at Rs 20.9 per share.
