Rajat Bose of rajatkbose.com told CNBC-TV18, "The medium term trend as well as the long term trends are both up and in the short-term there is some consolidation going on. But being a long term investor one should continue to hold on Escorts."
"I would suggest that put a stoploss below Rs 725 on closing price basis," he added.
At 15:24 hrs Escorts was quoting at Rs 858, down Rs 14.80, or 1.70 percent.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 921.90 and 52-week low Rs 480.10 on 07 February, 2018 and 06 March, 2017, respectively.
Currently, it is trading 6.93 percent below its 52-week high and 78.71 percent above its 52-week low.
