Prakash Gaba of prakashgaba.com told CNBC-TV18, "Escorts is still in the buy mode. In fact dips can be bought. Now it is into some kind of a consolidation, up move continues."

He further added, "I think the more you hold it, the more you get money into this. I have a feeling it is heading to levels closer to Rs 1,000. It may take its own sweet time for that, but it looks like Rs 1,000 is on the cards. Dips until Rs 600 or Rs 550 are buying opportunities."
