K Ramanathan, CIO, ING Investment Management India is overweight on private sector banks.

Ramanathan told CNBC-TV18, "We are currently overweight on private sector banks. With the intention to buy into public sector banks as and when the result pans out, because you could have good amount of negative surprises on Net Interest Margins (NIMs), asset quality, I would say it is bank specific rather than general PSU Banks per se. But despite higher valuations more positive on private sector banks as of now."
