My first pick is Bank of Baroda. It is a buy call. The stock has reflected strength by giving an upward key reversal on the daily charts. Most the mechanical indicators are supporting the move. The stock is quoting above the 55 DMA indicating the possibility of a further upside. One can buy at Rs 800 with a stoploss of Rs 794 and target of Rs 812. This is a shorter term call valid from an intraday point of view.
My second pick for today is Coal India. It is a buy call. The stock has reflected strength by taking support on the 55 DMA. The hourly indicators are showing strength. It has given a mini breakout on the intraday charts indicating possibility of a further upside. One can buy at Rs 333 with a stoploss of Rs 330 and target of Rs 339. This is a shorter term call valid from an intraday point of view. Nooresh Merani of AMSEC Research
My first call is a buy on NTPC with a target price of Rs 188 and a stop loss to be placed at Rs 174. If we look at the stock for the last many months it was in a range of Rs 150-180. For the last couple of weeks it has been sustaining in this band of Rs 170-178. I expect the stock to breakout above Rs 180 in the near term.
My next stock call is buy on Petronet LNG with a target price of Rs 182 and a stop loss to be placed at Rs 165. The stock is trading above all DMA and it has been in a good trend for the last many months. Yesterday the stock has given a breakout above its decent resistance around Rs 169-170.
