Go long in Adani Ports, Bata India, says Ashish Kapur

One can go long in Adani Ports with a target of Rs 162 and a stop loss at Rs 146. Adani Ports is one infrastructure company doing well, also what is good about this stock is that it has a very strong positive cash flow of Rs 2500 crore, mainly by a fixed contracts so that a positive with this company. Also the fact that they have managed to sell Abbot Point to their promoter group and this sale has resulted in reduction of debt by a significant amount is a great positive going ahead.
One can go long in Bata India with a target of Rs 870 and stop loss at Rs 810. Bata continues to do well and is expanding at a very rapid and aggressive way. The company is also closing down some of its smaller outlets as it continues to focus on the larger store format. Also it is expanding, it is using its retail network to leverage and go into different brands, also different products like sun glasses and scarf’s. given all that we feel that the stock which should continue to buck the otherwise slow down in the economy.
One can go long in Jubilant Foodworks with a target of Rs 1060 and a stop loss at Rs 970. We feel Jubilant is another stock which will continue to outperform the market despite concerns on their performance in the last quarter, also it is very well poised to beat the otherwise economic slowdown which is happening in the country. The company's main product, Dominos pizza has got very well established and the management continues to focus on expanding in a big way into new markets and new towns.
One can go long in Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company with a target of Rs 155 and a stop loss at Rs 142. Sun Pharma Advanced research was hived off from the parent Sun Pharma to focus on research and development of new drugs. The company has managed to turn around in the previous quarter, it has a very strong pipeline of around 19 products which could yield fantastic returns going forward. They are likely to file new product for treating of Glaucoma in the next quarter.
