BS closes 7% higher, promoter buys 1.5 lakh shares

BS Limited gained 6.82 percent to close at Rs 238.75 amid large volumes on Friday as the promoter Reema Agrawal has bought 1.5 lakh shares of the company at Rs 235.89 a share via bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange.

Reema Agarwal holds 1,37,800 equity shares or 0.63 percent stake in the company as of September 2012. Promoters' shareholding stands at 64.52 percent in the company.

The stock has touched a 52-week high of Rs 244 intraday, a gain of 9 percent.
Trading volumes increased 43 percent to 2,89,049 equity shares as compared to its five day average of 202,466 shares.
