Toyota Kirloskar hikes prices of key models

Automotive major Toyota Kirloskar Motor hiked prices of its key models, which will be effective from September 21, 2013. The increase in prices will be upto 1.5 percent.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor today announced an increase in the prices of its key models, effective September 21, 2013. The price increase of the Etios, Etios Liva, Innova and Corolla Altis will be upto 1.50 percent.

The range of price increase for each product is:

- Innova - Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 11,000

- Corolla Altis - Rs. 11,000 to Rs. 24,000

- Etios- Rs 4,000 to Rs 8,000

- Etios Liva – Rs 4,500 to Rs 8,600

Due to inflation, falling rupee and increase in the cost of materials, the company was forced to pass on the increase in cost to the customers, the company stated in a press release.
