Neo Asset Management appoints Nitin Agarwal as head of private equity

Neo Asset Management announced the appointment of Nitin Agarwal as the Head of Private Equity, where he will spearhead Neo's foray into the private equity space.

Agarwal, who earlier headed the India operations of TPG NewQuest, a leading Pan-Asian Direct Secondary Private Equity Fund, has an overall experience of over 23 years, Neo said in a press release on August 27.

Moneycontrol was the first to report about Agarwal leaving TPG NewQuest on July 25, ending a five year-long run at the investor.

"With an overall experience of over 23 years, Nitin Agarwal brings with him 18 years of extensive experience in the Private Equity, having contributed significantly to the success of leading PE funds such as Motilal Oswal, CLSA and TPG NewQuest," Neo said.
