IDFC Mutual Fund launches IDFC Equity Opportunity- Series 1

IDFC Mutual Fund has launched IDFC Equity Opportunity - Series 1, a 3 year close ended equity scheme. The New Fund Offer (NFO) will be open for subscription from today i.e. April 9, 2013 and will close on April 10, 2013. The NFO is priced at Rs 10 per unit.

The primary investment objective of the scheme is to generate capital appreciation from a portfolio that invests in equity and equity related securities of companies. The fund manager will invest in those companies, whose business metrics and fortunes are closely linked to the Indian markets and the Indian growth story. The IDFC Equity Opportunity - Series 1 seeks to identify and orient its portfolios towards such companies.

There will be no Entry and Exit load for the scheme.

The scheme offers Growth and Dividend option and is managed by Kenneth Andrade.
