Trent large trade: 11 lakh shares worth Rs 803 crore change hands at Rs 7,330 apiece

    About 11 lakh shares of Trent Ltd, representing a 0.31 percent stake in the company, were traded in a block deal window on Tuesday for Rs 803 crore. The shares were exchanged at Rs 7,330 per share. The company's stock was trading 1.26 percent higher at Rs 7,411.20 on the NSE in Tuesday's trade at around 2.45 pm. Details about the parties involved in the transaction were not disclosed.

    Trent share price settled at Rs 7,400 per share on the NSE, up 1.11 percent in September 17 trade. The shares have delivered multibagger returns of 146.77 percent this year so far in 2024 against Sensex which rose 14.95 percent in the same period.
