Keith Gill, the stock influencer known as "Roaring Kitty", on Monday disclosed a 6.6% stake in Chewy , sending shares of the pet products retailer 16% higher in premarket trading.

The stake disclosure, in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, comes just days after Gill posted a cryptic picture of a dog on his social media profile.

The post on Thursday sent Chewy's shares soaring to a near one-year high in intraday trading. Gill, who helped launch the meme-stock phenomenon in 2021, recently disclosed a sizeable GameStop stock and options position in a screen shot posted on Reddit on June 2.
