Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited has received an extension for holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM). The deadline has been extended by three months following approval from the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai.
The company had applied under Section 96 of the Companies Act, 2013, seeking an extension for the AGM related to the financial year ended March 31, 2025. The extension was granted via a letter dated September 12, 2025.
The Registrar of Companies considered the circumstances that prevented the company from holding its AGM on time and granted an extension of three months. The AGM, which was originally due by September 30, 2025, can now be held within the extended period.
The company has been advised to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013, in the future.
The extension was sought because the audit of the financial statements was completed and sent to the CAG for supplementary audit and comments. Provisional comments from the CAG have been received, and the company's reply is under process. The final report from the CAG is expected to take some time.
