Shri Jitendra Asati has been appointed as a Director on the Board of Punjab & Sind Bank, effective September 9, 2025. This appointment is based on Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
The nomination of Shri Jitendra Asati as Director on the Board of the Bank is in place of Ms. M.G. Jayasree, as per the notification No. eF. No. 6/2(i)/2022-BO.I dated September 9, 2025, from the Central Government.
The appointment is an exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980. Shri Jitendra Asati will serve as Director on the Board of the Bank with immediate effect and until further orders.
Shri Jitendra Asati is currently serving as Director, Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services.
Shri Jitendra Asati is not debarred by SEBI or any other authority from being appointed as a director on the Board of the Bank.
The company requests that the above be noted pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
