NSE will suspend trading in securities of Gujarat State Financial Corporation (GSFC) and Zenith Computers from March 11 on account of voluntary delisting by the firms. In September last year, GSFC had said it will delist its shares from the NSE as no trading in the company's scrips took place for more than a decade. On the other side, Zenith Computers in June had announced to delist its share from the NSE without stating any reason.
However, both the companies had said that their scrips will be traded on BSE which has nationwide trading terminals. "It is hereby notified that the following security (GSFC and Zenith Computers) will be suspended from trading w.e.f. March 11, 2016 (ie with effect from closing hours of trading on March 10, 2016)," NSE said in two separate but similar worded circulars. "Further the admission to dealings in the following security shall be withdrawn (delisted) with effect from March 18, 2016," the circulars said.
