NCDEX Castor seed fut volume increases by 95% in 1 month

NCDEX Castor seed futures Volume increased by 95 percent in one month: Palm Oil futures witnessed 22724 MT volumes in a fortnight.

NCDEX, the leading commodity exchange is seeing greater traction in its castor seed futures contract. Volume of Castor seed contract has seen over 95 percent increases in last one month. Apart from Castor seed contract, NCDEX crude oil contract has seen 1,14,400 barrels volume and recently launched Crude Palm Oil contract has also witnessed volume of 22724 MT during last fortnight.

Total volume of all Castor seed contract was 2463030 MT during 14th October 2013, to 13th November 2013 time period.  Volume of this contract was 4814240 MT during 14th November, 2013 to 13th December, 2013.

NCDEX Crude Palm Oil futures have managed to maintain market interest with stable participation.

After having built strong participation, liquidity and efficient price discovery in various agri commodities, the Exchange is now offering a complete basket of oil & oilseeds contracts that give customers the chance to benefit from managing their risk on a platform with proven credibility. The rising participation in Crude Palm Oil futures are an indication of the trust that the market participants repose on the Exchange.
