GR Infraprojects Ltd has completed the acquisition of Rajgarh Neemuch Power Transmission Limited from REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited for Rs 18.88 crore. The transaction was executed on September 29, 2025, through a share purchase agreement, making the entity a wholly owned subsidiary of GR Infraprojects.
Rajgarh Neemuch Power Transmission, incorporated on June 17, 2025, has an authorised and paid-up capital of Rs 5 lakh, divided into 50,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each. With the acquisition, GR Infraprojects now holds all 50,000 equity shares, including those through six nominees.
The project is part of the “Transmission system for evacuation of power from RE projects in Rajgarh (1,500 MW) SEZ in Madhya Pradesh – Phase III, and Neemuch (1,000 MW) SEZ in Madhya Pradesh – Phase II.” The acquired entity operates in the power transmission and distribution sector with its presence in India.
Shares of GR Infraprojects closed at Rs 1,218.00 on Tuesday, up 0.35 percent. The stock touched a day’s high of Rs 1,233.00 and a low of Rs 1,205.00 during the session. Over the past year, it has fallen 28 percent, moving between Rs 901.00 and Rs 1,749.00. GR Infraprojects currently trades at a price-to-earnings multiple of 10.69 and offers a dividend yield of 1.03 percent.
