Expect rupee to open strong around 61.65/USD: Ashok Gautam

The dollar-rupee pair will continue to be sold on upticks in the near to medium term, says Ashok Gautam of Axis Bank.

Ashok Gautam of Axis Bank said, "Rupee is expected to open strong at around 61.65/USD levels and hold the crucial long-term trend line level of 61.52/USD in the short term. If dollar-rupee pair breaches the same, we may see it moving lower quickly."

"The pair will continue to be sold on upticks in the near to medium term. Expected range for the day is 61.52-61.98/USD," he added.
