10-year yield to trade in 6.73-6.78% range: Ajay Manglunia

The 10-year benchmark yield is likely to trade in a range of 6.73-6.78 percent today, says Ajay Manglunia of Edelweiss.

Ajay Manglunia of Edelweiss said, "The liquidity push via the announcement of G-sec repurchase worth Rs 200 billion close on the heels of the Rs 100 billion OMO purchase is expected to cheer up the markets.""There are no other major drivers in the near term and global markets can provide some cues. The 10-year benchmark yield is likely to trade in a range of 6.73-6.78 percent today," he added.
