10-year yield seen between 7.80-7.90%: Vivek Rajpal

The current liquidity deficit in the banking system implies RBI may resort to OMO again in a few weeks, which will keep the yields on the lower side of the range, says Vivek Rajpal, Nomura.

Vivek Rajpal, Nomura said, "The current liquidity deficit in the banking system implies RBI may resort to OMO (open market operation) again in a few weeks, which will keep the yields on the lower side of the range. IIP is likely to come in at 0.9% today. The range for the 10-year yield is seen between 7.80-7.90%."
