May enter Indian equities in next 1-2 qtrs: HSBC

Garry Evans, Global Head of Strategy of HSBC feels it is too early to say whether or not Indian markets have bottomed. HSBC remains underweight on India at the moment, he informs.

The Indian markets have had a tumultuous start for 2011. However, Garry Evans, Global Head of Strategy at HSBC feels it is too early to say whether or not Indian markets have bottomed. He states HSBC remains underweight on India at the moment.

According to Evans the recent outperformance of development markets versus the emerging markets is temporary.
