Kitchen solutions provider TTK Prestige's fourth quarter profit is seen declining 17.8 percent year-on-year to Rs 21.6 crore, according to a CNBC-TV18 poll. Lower other income and exceptional gain in Q4FY14 may impact the bottomline.
In the year-ago period, the company had an exceptional gain of Rs 8.1 crore. After adjusting for the same, profit would be Rs 18.1 crore in Q4FY14.
Net sales are likely to increase 7.4 percent to Rs 292.6 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 from Rs 272.5 crore in the same quarter last year.
Operating profit may climb 17.4 percent year-on-year to Rs 33.3 crore and margin may expand 100 basis points to 11.4 percent in the quarter gone by.
Analysts said challenging macro environment, weak consumer demand and the unseasonal rainfall have led to a continued slowdown in growth momentum in the kitchenware segment.
Small revenue growth of around 7 percent may be led by core product categories (pressure cookers and cookware) coupled with gradual revival in appliances segment (induction and rice cooker, gas stove).
Key issues to watch out for are performance of appliances division and outlook on exports.
