Textile and plastic company Sintex Industries registered a 12 percent growth in its consolidated net profit at Rs 69 crore during the quarter ended June 30, mainly on account of growth in its custom molding business.
The company registered a net profit of Rs 61.59 crore in the same period, a year ago. "Custom molding has grown 24 percent and I believe we are entering a high growth era with a blend of synergies flowing in future. Prefab on the back of strong order flows will keep the momentum higher in coming quarters," Sintex Industries Group MD Amit Patel said in a statement.
The consolidated total income of Sintex grew by about 9 percent to Rs 1,471.21 crore in the reported quarter as against Rs 1,345.41 crore in the year-ago period.
