Software services provider Persistent Systems' third quarter profit is seen rising 8.86 percent sequentially to Rs 80 crore and revenue may increase 5.1 percent to Rs 740 crore.

According to average of estimates of analysts polled by CNBC-TV18, dollar revenue during the quarter is likely to grow 4.5 percent to USD 110 million compared with previous quarter and constant revenue growth may be around 5 percent.

EBIT (earnings before interest and tax) in Q3 is seen rising 18.8 percent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 88 crore and margin may expand 139 basis points to 11.89 percent due to pyramid rationalisation.

Analysts will closely watch company's FY17 revenue growth estimates of 25 percent. According to them, Persistent is unlikely to see major impact due to any change in visa rule.
