GMR Infra will announce March quarter earnings on May 29. The company is likely to report loss of Rs 551 crore in Q4FY15 against a profit of Rs 1170 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. According to a CNBC-TV18 poll, its total income may slip 15.7 percent at Rs 2,495 crore compared to Rs 2,961 crore in year-ago period.

Core EBITDA (ex-forex) is up 7 percent (year-on-year) at Rs 740 crore versus Rs 691 crore and core operating profit margins (ex-Forex) may grow 630 basis points at 29.7 percent against 23.3 percent.

Analysts say power business profitability may remain adversely impacted. Airports profitability may also get impacted by discontinuation of user development fee (UDF) in Hyderabad airport.

Key factors to watch in the results are impact on profitability due to lower gas supply for gas based power plant and traffic growth in airports and road assets.
