Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone's (APSEZ) third quarter consolidated net profit grew 13.7 percent year-on-year to Rs 512 crore, supported by revenue and operational performance. Total income of India's largest port developer jumped 44 percent to Rs 1,546 crore during October-December quarter from Rs 1,072.2 crore in same quarter last fiscal.
At a press confernce, APSEZ CEO Sudipta Bhattacharya said during the nine-month period, the company handled 800 mt cargo (29 percent higher YoY) while it broke through 2.1 million TEUs (20 percent higher)
"Our ports at Dahej and Hazira continue to grow strongly. On a nine-month basis, they recorded 10 mt and 5 mt cargo, respectively, higher by 50 percent and 66 percent."
