Crompton Greaves Ltd said its consolidated net loss reduced to Rs 102.17 crore for the March quarter.

The company had posted a net loss of Rs 192.14 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2014-15, Crompton Greaves said in a BSE filing.

However, the total income from operations of the company increased to Rs 1,669.91 crore over Rs 1574.94 crore in the year-ago period.

The Group has posted a net loss of Rs 395.52 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.

However, the company had posted a net profit of Rs 23.45 crore for the year ended March 31, 2015.

The total income has decreased from Rs 5,576.72 crore for the year ended March 31, 2015 to Rs 5,358.45 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.

In a separate filing, it informed that Meher Pudumjee, Non-executive Independent Director has stepped down from the Directorship of the company effective close of business hours on May 27, 2016.
