Hindalco lines up $6.5 bn capex, says Kumar Birla

Hindalco, an Aditya Birla company has earmarked USD 6.5 billion towards its domestic and international expansion plans, said chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla on the company's 52nd annual general meeting.

Hindalco, an Aditya Birla company has earmarked USD 6.5 billion towards its domestic and international expansion plans, said chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla during the company's 52nd annual general meeting.

While answering to a volley of questions from the company shareholders, Birla said, "The company has already embarked on an ambitious growth path both in India and globally for next three years which includes--- brownfield and greenfield projects in India and capacity additions at Novelis
