Shares of Vakrangee Software hit a 52-week high of Rs 55 on Wednesday after the acquisition of additional 4.57 percent stake by the promoter.

    Shares of Vakrangee Software hit a 52-week high of Rs 55 on Wednesday after the acquisition of additional 4.57 percent stake by the promoter.


    In a release sent to exchanges, the company said, "Vakrangee Holdings Private Limited (formerly NJD Holdings Private Limited), one of the promoters of Vakrangee Softwares has acquired shares aggregating to 4.57 percent of share capital of the company through open market during the period September 10, 2012 to September 25, 2012. Shareholding of Vakrangee Holdings Private Limited in the company including the present acquisition stands at 23.06 percent."


    Post the current acquisition, total promoters' shareholding in the company stands at 34.41 percent, according to the company.
     
    At 13:42 hours IST, the share was trading at Rs 54.90, up 2.23 percent with volumes of 2,07,433 equity shares.

    Yesterday also share rose 2.48 percent  to close at Rs 53.70.
