Loop Telecom to hold talks with Indian govt on Feb 14-15

Loop telecom and the Indian govt are set to hold talks on international arbitration. Khaitan holdings that has ownership stake in loop telecom, will negotiate with the govt representatives on Feb 14-15. Officials from ministry of external affairs (MEA) and department of telecom (DoT) will represent the govt during the talks.

Loop Telecom and the Indian govt are set to hold talks on international arbitration. Khaitan Holdings, which has ownership stake in loop telecom, will negotiate with the govt representatives on Feb 14-15. Officials from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and Department of Telecom (DoT) will represent the government during the talks.

This will be the first round of meeting after Loop Telecom claimed a refund of Rs 1,454 crore licence fee. Loop had sought the refund following cancellation of its licence as Loop Telecom's Mauritius-based investor's Capital Global and Kaif Investment had invoked the India-Mauritius bilateral investment treaty.
