Another round of talks between the government and industry is set to take place, with top corporate heads meeting Prime Minister Manmohan Singh later in the evening.

Industry leaders expected to attend the meeting include Mukesh Ambani, Ratan Tata, Sunil Mittal, Sunil Munjal, Deepakh Parekh, Rahul Bajaj, Kumar Manglam Birla, Narayana Nurthy, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Chanda Kocchar and Ashok Ganguly.

The key issues up for debate are the worries of economic slowdown, policy paralysis and governance deficit in the country. A discussion on stimulating growth and pushing the much-debated foreign direct investment is also on the cards.

Pranab Mukherjee, Anand Sharma and Montek Singh Ahluwalia from the government's side are expected to attend the meeting.
