There's a lot of churn at the top for a number of big corporates in India. So while tech major Infosys has decided to bring in a new person to head its human resource development department, Dr Reddy's has been forced to rejig its top deck after its rival Cipla poached the pharma major's North America business head.
Below are the top deck changes at Cipla and Dr Reddy's:
Umang Vohra: Appointed global CFO, CiplaWas Dr Reddy's Labs North America business head
Alok Sonig: Appointed executive VP and head of North America, Dr Reddy's Labs
MV Ramana: Appointed executive VP and head of branded markets-India and emerging countries, Dr Reddy's Labs
In the technology space:
Krishnamurthy Shankar: Appointed group head of HRD, Infosys
All HR heads at Infosys will now have to report to Krishnamurthy Shankar, who will be responsible for envisioning a roadmap for human resources. He will have to drive strategy and implement operational priorities. Shankar was earlier the HR head of Philips South Asia.
