Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com told CNBC-TV18, "ACC sort of stocks should be bought when the news is bad. ACC from Rs 1,230 is now up to Rs 1,800-1,850 so if you buy here, chances are you may be getting into a top because for the last many years, the stock has not been able to break Rs 1,000 on the downside or Rs 2,000 on the upside. I would be very surprise if a great new bull market is beginning on ACC. if you bought it at Rs 1,200, these good results will give you an opportunity to get out. It is a commodity play. I don’t think you should push your luck on ACC."

"Anytime Idea Cellular gets to Rs 95 to Rs 100, it is a sell. Maybe closer to Rs 70 it is a buy. I do not think these stocks are now going to behave any different from utility stock something like NTPC etc. So that way it is still sell on rallies," he said.

"Bharti Infratel is in some kind of an uptrend but it was a better buy around Rs 340-350 and telecom overall is not in any kind of bull market. Bharti if people are in, they should very carefully look at levels of Rs 440-450 where it stopped out even earlier. So, these sort of stocks, once they are making any sort of three months highs etc, they are getting closer to their tops because they are basically sideways. Once you get a bit of good news, ACC, Bharti etc, they keep moving in ranges. They don’t tend to make fresh highs very easily."

"CESC is a buy with a stop of Rs 890 target of Rs 925. Sintex Industries is a buy with a stop of Rs 31.50 target of Rs 37 and Indiabulls Housing Finance is a buy with a stop of Rs 1,130, target of Rs 1,200."
