JK Sugars fixes record date for scheme of amalgamation

Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd in its meeting held on July 25, 2013 have fixed August 06, 2013 as the Record Date for shareholders of JK Sugar Ltd (JKSL) for the purpose of ascertaining their entitlement for new Equity Shares in Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd.Consequent to merger of JKSL (Transferor Company) with Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd, 33,08,960 Equity shares of Rs. 10 each shall be allotted in the exchange ratio of 275:1000 i.e. issue of 275 Equity shares for every 1000 Equity shares of Rs. 10 each to those shareholders of JK Sugar Limited, whose name appear in the Register of Members or as the beneficial owner(s) of the Equity Shares of JK Sugar Limited in the records of the Depositories, as on the close of business hours on August 06, 2013.Source : BSE
