Formula E is coming to India for the first time and Hyderabad will host the electric cars race on February 11 in which 11 teams from across the world will participate. The city will also host the race over the next four years , reports said.
Formula E, officially the ABB FIA( Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) Formula E World Championship, is a single-seater motorsport championship for electric cars. The FIA has collaborated with the Telangana government to organise the event, the Indian Express said on February 5. Private firm Ace Nxt Gen is the official promoter of the race.

Mahindra and Mahindra's Formula E racing team Mahindra Racing will compete for the first time on home ground. The race in Hyderabad is round four of season 9 . Eleven teams from across the globe will participate in the net zero carbon emission race.

Formula E Hyderabad tickets
The venue can accommodate around 20,000 spectators and tickets are available in multiple categories. According to an Autocar India report, the Rs 1,000 Grandstand and Rs 4,000 Charged Grandstand tickets have been sold out.
The Premium Grandstand (Rs 7,000) and Ace Grandstand (Rs 10,500) tickets are still available. There’s also the Ace Lounge package for Rs 1.25 lakh. You can click here to buy the tickets online.
Formula E Hyderabad track
In line with Formula E’s goal to bring racing to the city centres, the Hyderabad E-Prix will be held on a street circuit alongside the Hussain Sagar Lake.
The 2.835-km circuit winds through Lumbini Park and features a total of 18 corners, according to a report by Autocar India.
Fan Village
Activities will not be limited to the track alone. There will also be an Allianz Fan Village that will host a variety of activities, including exhibitions from manufacturers such as Mahindra and Formula E. There will also be a gaming arena, kids zone, food and beverage counters, and stage acts.

According to Autocar India, the Hyderabad E-Prix schedule is as follows:
February 10: Free Practice 1 from 16:25 to 17:25
February 11: Free Practice 2 from 8:05 to 8:55
February 11: Qualifying from 10:40 to 11:55
February 11: Drivers Parade from 13:40 to 13:55
February 11: Race from 15:00 to 16:30
