Adani group looks to partner with Uber to roll out electric vehicles

Billionaire Gautam Adani on February 24 met Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, who is currently on a visit to India, and hinted at possible future collaborations between his conglomerate and the ride-hailing app.

The Adani Group is currently working on a strategic partnership with ride-sharing platform Uber to introduce its electric passenger cars, The Economic Times reported. The partnership also plans to bring Uber services under Adani One, which was launched in 2022. Gautam Adani, the Chairman, met with Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi on February 24 during his visit to India and hinted at possible future collaborations between his conglomerate and the ride-hailing app.

Taking to X, both business leaders appreciated their conversation on the Indian growth story and their vision for the subcontinent.

The Uber CEO said he met the head of the ports-to-energy conglomerate over breakfast for an "absolutely terrific conversation". He also highlighted the mobility service provider's commitment to accelerate EV transition in India.
