Mahira Khan is no stranger to controversy. Recently, the actress appeared at a promotional event for her film Neelofar along with Fawad Khan in Lahore, leading to speculation about her getting a facelift or other cosmetic procedures. However, the actress denied such claims.
In a post shared by Niche Lifestyle, Mahira joked about how good she is at eyebrow lifting. “I have recently come back from Lahore, and I'm hearing that people are saying I have gone through an eyebrow lift. Should I show you my eyebrow-lifting talent?”
While she lightly dismissed the rumours, in another post on X, where a user expressed disappointment with her recent outing, Mahira acknowledged that her makeup artist’s attempt at a “snatched look” didn’t go as planned and was a mistake she has learned from.
“Thank you for the love, but why would I do a facelift right now (not that I’m judging anyone who would or has)? My makeup artist did some hair-lift things to give a ‘snatched look’ — in two parts. And it wasn’t done right. Anyhow… lesson learnt. Moving on. Lots of love,” she wrote.
The Pakistani actress has always been upfront about her life—whether it was her failed marriage, having a child, or even finding love again in Salim Karim. Her marriage in 2023 to him was a private yet celebrated affair.
Talking about actresses who have undergone cosmetic procedures, Janhvi Kapoor recently opened up about how fake videos of self-proclaimed doctors pointing out the things celebrities have done to their faces are highly disturbing.

“They say, ‘Let’s do a review of everything this person has done to their face.’ I think I have been very intelligent, conservative, and informed about what I’ve done. Of course, I have had the guidance of my mother and everything, and I’d like to share that — also as a cautionary tale, because if a young girl sees a video like this and decides to go for it, she should know. I think transparency is important,” she said.
