Her stylist and sister, Rhea Kapoor, shared snaps of the actress wearing a black slub silk dress from the brand’s 1957 haute couture collection. The sleeveless, form-fitting dress accentuated her curves, while the structured neckline elevated its feminine charm. She completed the look with classic Old Hollywood-style evening gloves.

The true showstoppers of the outfit were the brooch from Raniek Jewels and diamond pieces from Birdhichand.
The brooch enhanced the vintage aesthetic and was described on Raniek’s Instagram handle with the caption: “Janhvi Kapoor in a Raniek High Jewellery Brooch at the Cannes Film Festival. A composition in chiaroscuro — where form, heritage, and light converge. This brooch, featuring natural diamonds and anchored by a 10-carat pear, embodies the house’s pursuit of quiet magnificence.”
